Architectural coatings – Bondex 5240 Nano

Bondex 5240 nano is a nano-particle-sized rigid breathable polymer that prevents excessive absorption. It is an Alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO) and Formaldehyde-free Styrene Acrylic copolymer-based nanoemulsion with a special surfactant system. 

It is formulated as a deep-penetrating primer for porous surfaces such as concrete, cementitious plaster, old and new surfaces, plasterboard, and gypsum. The product is water-based and is non-inflammable.

Re-coatability is good; usually,150-250 g/ sq. m is sufficient for a good prime surface.

Construction Chemicals – Bondex 5810

BONDEX 5810 is a fine particle water-based dispersion/emulsion of Styrene Acrylic Copolymer. It is a surfactant-stabilized colloid-free emulsion that provides a flexible film. The emulsion is formulated using a proprietary programmed sequential addition method, which provides excellent waterproofing. Its surfactants are free from APEO, formaldehyde, and liquid ammonia. 

The latent crosslinking system of this Bondex product exhibits a good balance of elongation, adhesive strength, and tensile strength. Among our construction chemicals, Bondex products, this one offers excellent wet scrub and abrasion resistance, pigment-loading characteristics, alkali resistance, and water resistance.

Textiles Specialty Chemicals – Bondex 8546

Bondex 8546 is a self-crosslinking Styrene-Acrylic copolymer for flocking that provides a velvet-like effect. The product is formulated with excellent thermal and mechanical properties, as well as soft, durable film properties.

• Good Fastness (Fabric’s color will not fade, bleed, or change when exposed to different conditions)

Bondex 8546 can be thickened using acrylic thickeners, such as Bondex T-60, which should be diluted with water to a pH of 7.5-8.0 before mixing. 

Adhesives for Labeling – Bondex TG-150

BONDEX® TG-150 is a water-based, high-solids labelling adhesive for paper to glass bottles for distilleries. These properties are typical but do not constitute specifications.

• No edge at low temperature

Bondex TG-150 is a specially formulated adhesive for labels that are used on glass bottles in distilleries. It offers a good initial tack on glass bottles and is skid-free. Bonding might take longer at high humidity (over 85% RH). With this Bondex product, the label will have an excellent finish when properly pressed, with no air bubbles or wrinkles. It also has excellent wetting and spreadability on a roller.
